Fall 2026 Georgia State Society Scholarship Applications

The Georgia State Society is currently accepting applications for our two fall semester scholarships available to students interning in Washington, D.C.!
To qualify, students must be a Georgia resident or enrolled at a higher education institution within the state of Georgia.
The scholarships are $1,500 each and will be awarded to students currently interning in D.C. who are enrolled in undergraduate or graduate-level studies in 2026.
Applications must be submitted by Sunday, August 23, 2026.
Charlie Norwood Scholarship
The Norwood Scholarship honors the life and legacy of Georgia Congressman Charlie Norwood.
For students interning on Capitol Hill.
Nuckolls Scholarship
The Nuckolls Scholarship recognizes the significant contributions of Randy Nuckolls as a former president and long-time board member of the Georgia State Society.
For public policy interns outside of Congress.
