The Georgia State Society is accepting applications for its 2nd annual Summer Scholarship to support college students interning in the nation’s capital during the summer.

This scholarship of $1,500 is designed to ease the financial burden often associated with unpaid or low-paid internships, helping students focus on professional development and meaningful experiences.

Eligible applicants must be current college students who are either from the state of Georgia or attend a Georgia-based institution and must be interning in Washington, D.C., for a minimum of six weeks during the summer.

Applications must be submitted by Monday, May 25, 2026.
