2025 Peachtree Ball Logistics and Event Details
We look forward to seeing you at the 2025 Peachtree Ball on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at Union Station in Washington, D.C. Below please find some key information about the event. We ask that you read this thoroughly before arriving on Saturday evening and reach out to tickets@georgiastatesociety.org with any issues or questions.
All guests must have a valid, government-issued I.D. for entry. There will be no exceptions.
As a reminder, no tickets will be sold at the door.
There will be a 100% I.D. check at the door, and each ticket must match the name on the identification presented. Multiple tickets cannot be reserved under the same name. If you have multiple tickets in your name, please email tickets@georgiastatesociety.org to transfer a ticket to your guest’s name. Multiple tickets may still be issued to the same email address. In addition, only guests who are at least 21 years old will be permitted to attend the Peachtree Ball.
Guests will not be able to bring any bags larger than a small purse or clutch to the event. No guests with suitcases, backpacks, etc. will be permitted to enter.
Entrance to the event is through the front, center doors of Union Station. Doors will open at 7:00 pm. Guests are encouraged not to arrive well in advance of 7:00 pm as the queue will be outside, and the weather is likely to be cold. There will be a coat check available at the event. Registration will close at 9:45 PM, and no guests who arrive after that time will be permitted to enter.
We expect that guests will be able to be dropped off directly in front of Union Station via taxi or rideshare. Union Station is also a stop on Metro’s Red Line. We encourage guests to arrive via public transit or taxi/rideshare. However, parking is available in Union Station’s parking garage. There will be no valet or validated parking. Guests who drive to Union Station will need to walk through the building and exit the Main Hall for re-entry to the event space. Street parking is likely to be very limited near Union Station.
The Peachtree Ball is a black-tie event. Inappropriately attired guests will not be admitted.
Please note that Union Station is in close proximity to the U.S. Capitol Complex. Union Station, the U.S. Capitol, and all of downtown Washington, D.C. will be operating in a heightened security posture in advance of Monday’s inauguration ceremonies. Guests are encouraged to take potential road closures into account when planning travel time and other logistics. In addition, we encourage guests to familiarize themselves with rules and restrictions in the District of Columbia.
The Georgia State Society is excited to host Georgians and friends of Georgia for an evening of celebration commemorating the 60th Presidential Inauguration. All Peachtree Ball guests will have access to a premium buffet and open bar throughout the evening. Our all-volunteer committee has worked tirelessly to plan a hospitable, secure, and celebratory evening for our guests and friends. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to seeing you there!
