The Georgia State Society is pleased to announce Miss Megan Elizabeth Hood as our 2019 Cherry Blossom Princess and will proudly represent Georgia during this year’s National Festival. Sarah is the daughter of Rob and Jennifer Hood of Alexandria, Virginia and a longtime participant in our Cherry Blossom dinner. Sarah is a 2nd year student at Auburn University majoring in nursing. She is an active member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and the Student Nursing Association.

The Georgia State Society dinner honoring Miss Hood will be held on Saturday, March 16th at the University Club. The celebration will begin with a cocktail reception at 6:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. After dinner, we will enjoy the traditional presentation of the Princess and the Georgia children in her Court followed by dancing. Tickets for the dinner are $55.00 for GSS members, $60 for non-members, and $25.00 per child.
